Climate Education Presenter - Milwaukee, Wisconsin

Stacey is a Climate Education Presenter focused on the Milwaukee Public School System. Her background as an Event Planner has opened her eyes to the abhorrent amount of food, plastic waste and “swag” waste that is systemic in the industry. She understands we are facing a climate crisis and knew she had to pivot to become a strong voice for the climate and our collective futures.

A proud "Big" with Big Brothers Big Sisters and an active member of 350.org, Stacey is deeply involved in her community. She is a fervent advocate for underserved Black and Brown communities, tirelessly working with legislators to spotlight and address issues of climate justice, Milwaukee Public Schools (MPS) funding, and the critical importance of voting rights.

In her free time, she and her partner have embarked on an ambitious goal to walk the entirety of the Ice Age Trail, spanning 1,200 miles across Wisconsin! This personal challenge underscores her love for the great outdoors and her commitment to preserving the environment for future generations.

Stacey's work is fueled by her innate curiosity and research-driven approach, particularly in the realms of human and Earth history. Her hobbies include collecting fossils and finding artifacts, activities that allow her to connect more deeply with the planet's past and inform her advocacy work.

As Stacey joins the team, she looks forward to creating a knowledge foundation in scientific and climate impacts that will inspire and prepare these underprivileged students for the climate jobs of the future and inspire them to take urgent action now!
