Alina is the Climate Education Presenter for Our Climate Our Future Live in Detroit, MI. She works in a team committed to educating students around the country and inspiring students to take climate action. Alina has a B.A. in Political Science and Spanish from Saginaw Valley State University. She is passionate about intellectual development and community engagement. At SVSU she was an avid leader working to promote voter education and environmental stewardship.
Before coming to ACE, Alina worked as a Green Corps Organizer working across the East Coast on impactful campaigns to fight oil drilling in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge, protect crucial marine ecosystems in the Gulf of Maine, and promote clean energy legislation in New Jersey.
In her free time Alina enjoys obsessively reading, hiding out in art museums, and escaping outside to spend time with nature. She will be attending graduate school in the fall with the goal to one day be a professor and educate new generations on ecosystem science and sustainability.
